Terry McGill
CEO, Owner, Founder
Terry McGill was born and raised in San Francisco in the 1970s & 1980s. Being an alumnus of Galileo High School and San Francisco City College, Terry has deep roots in the City and knows the Bay Area better than most. In his younger years, he was introduced to the security industry, working as a guard/shift lead at the Hilton Hotel and bouncer at the Bank Exchange. Having these early experiences in the security field gives Terry a sixth sense when protecting people, property, and establishments, a quality he likes to instill in all his staff. Terry grew up as an avid hunter and dog lover, drawing inspiration from his father. When deciding to start his own company in 2012, Terry knew he had to incorporate his love for dogs and his passion for K-9s. Since its establishment, Terry has grown McGill's Security & K-9 Patrol Services to be the only security company in the Bay Area specializing in highly trained K-9s and disciplined K-9 Handlers.

Shawn McGill
VP, Office Manager
Shawn McGill (son of Terry McGill) also grew up in San Francisco and attended Lowell High School & Burton High School before graduating from San Francisco State University. Shawn followed in his father's footsteps with his love for dogs and took a hands-on approach to train K-9s and K-9 handlers. Having majored in Criminal Justice Studies, Shawn has a unique viewpoint on motivations behind most crimes, a skill he has utilized extensively in keeping clients safe and secure. Shawn takes pride in going the extra mile for clients, acting as a second layer of defense and backup for all staff employed at job sites, and ensuring they are well-equipped to perform their duties to the best of their abilities. Shawn is always on the front lines, so to speak, providing all of his staff are comfortable and confident in their duties, adding an extra layer of security to ensure McGill's Security & K-9 Patrol Services clients are satisfied with services.
